1How Part 2 Worksكيف يعمل الجزء الثاني
- You get a cue card, paper and pencil.
- 1 minute to prepare, then speak for 1–2 minutes.
- The examiner stops you at 2 minutes — that's normal.
- Aim to keep talking until stopped.
- Marked on fluency, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation.
2The 1-Minute Note Methodطريقة الملاحظات
- Split the paper into 4 boxes — one per cue-card point.
- Write keywords only, never full sentences.
- 2–3 words per box + one strong word or idiom.
- Circle one personal detail or story for each box.
- Glance down, then look at the examiner and speak.
3The P.P.F. Methodطريقة الماضي-الحاضر-المستقبل
- PAST — set the scene: when, where, who. “I first came across it about three years ago…”
- PRESENT — describe it now and why it matters. “These days, it plays a huge part in…”
- FUTURE — plans, hopes, predictions. “If I ever get the chance, I'd love to…”
- This naturally shows a range of tenses — a Band 7+ signal.
4Band 7+ Connectorsروابط للدرجة 7+
- “Looking back on it now…”
- “What really stood out to me was…”
- “Fast forward to today, and…”
- “The main reason it means so much to me is that…”
- “All in all, I'd say…”
5Natural Stalling Phrasesعبارات لكسب الوقت
- “That's an interesting question — let me think…”
- “How can I put this…”
- “I've never really thought about it, but…”
- “What I mean is…” (to rephrase smoothly)
- Never: long silence, “umm” loops, or memorised speeches.
